Privacy Policy

Last updated June 25, 2026. This policy explains how Clara Design collects, uses, protects, and shares information across our website, studio services, and Creative OS tools.

1. Overview

Clara Design ("Clara," "we," "us," or "our") is a senior creative studio. We provide creative services, websites, project intake, research workflows, moodboarding, and related local-first creative tools including Creative OS Cockpit.

We use information to respond to inquiries, run creative projects, provide and improve our tools, protect our systems, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Contact details such as name, email address, company, role, and website.
  • Project briefs, brand materials, references, files, notes, and feedback you send us.
  • Messages, meeting notes, form submissions, and support requests.
  • Billing or business details needed to scope, contract, invoice, and deliver work.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic device, browser, IP address, log, error, and performance information.
  • Pages visited, referring pages, and product usage events when analytics are enabled.
  • Cookie or similar technology data used for site operation, measurement, and security.

3. Pinterest and Third-Party Connectors

If you authorize a third-party connector, such as Pinterest, Google, Figma, or another creative tool, we only access the information permitted by that authorization and by the provider's API rules.

For Pinterest-connected workflows, Creative OS may read permitted account, board, Pin, thumbnail, metadata, source-domain, and original-source-lead information to support taste analysis, source planning, visual clustering, and moodboard research. Pinterest content is treated as a taste signal or research lead by default, not as a production asset or final verified reference unless the original source is resolved and separately verified.

You can revoke third-party access through the provider's account settings or by contacting us. Revocation may limit related Creative OS functionality.

4. AI and Creative Processing

Clara Design may use AI service providers to help generate concept drafts, organize briefs, cluster visual signals, critique creative material, generate labeled exploration, and prepare handoff context. AI outputs are working material and require human review before use as final creative work.

Project inputs sent to AI tools may include brief text, selected taste signals, reference metadata, uploaded assets, and user instructions. We avoid sending secrets or unnecessary personal information to AI providers and use available privacy controls where appropriate.

5. How We Use Information

  • To respond to inquiries and operate project intake.
  • To plan, produce, review, and deliver creative work.
  • To run Creative OS workflows, including research, reference hunts, moodboards, and handoffs.
  • To maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and prevent misuse.
  • To improve our services, tools, and creative operations.
  • To comply with contracts, accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory obligations.

6. Sharing and Subprocessors

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who host, secure, analyze, or operate our site and tools.
  • AI, design, storage, email, analytics, and project-collaboration providers used to deliver work.
  • Payment, accounting, legal, and professional advisors when needed.
  • Authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain project records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate business purposes. We may keep local project packets and creative records unless you ask us to delete or return them and we are legally able to do so.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, export, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

California residents may request details about categories of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and retain. European, UK, and Swiss residents may have rights under GDPR or similar laws. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business and professional use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
